Salisbury University to celebrate 100-year-milestone Sunday
SALISBURY, Md. – Meanwhile, Salisbury University is marking 100 years this semester. They will be celebrating their birthday, which officials call ‘Fun Fest in the Nest.’
On September 7th, the date of their founding, which was in 1925.
The campus event is free to the community and will include music, activities, and food trucks.
Deputy Chief of the Salisbury University Foundation, Amy Waters, is excited. She said the chance to celebrate SU’s history with not only students, but SU alums, will be amazing.
“September 7th, this Sunday, the community will come out to celebrate with our students and faculty. The entire community is invited, and we look to host probably around 4,000 people. It will be a wonderful day.”
The event will begin at 1 p.m. and end around 4 p.m.
