MILFORD, Del. – The Milford Police Department arrested an 18-year-old on felony gun charges last Wednesday.

On Sept. 17, police responded to People’s Place, a non-profit counseling center, after workers reported a program attendee to be in possession of a firearm. A preliminary investigation lead police to a trashcan in the meeting room, where the handgun in question had been discarded.

Officers identified the attendee that brought the weapon to be 18-year-old Reginald D. Wright-McGlotten Jr. of Ellendale. Wright-McGlotten resisted arrest but was ultimately taken into police custody without incident.

Wright-McGlotten was committed to the Department of Correction on $104,000.00 cash bond on several felony gun charges. He will appear at a later date in the Kent County Court of Common Pleas for a Preliminary Hearing.
