MDOT to Resurface Portion of Salisbury Bypass

SALISBURY, Md. – The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) State Highway Administration will begin resurfacing a section of the Salisbury Bypass on Monday, Sept. 15.

The stretch road set to be resurfaced is on southbound US 13, between MD 12 to just north of Stockyard Road. Crews will begin working at 7:00 a.m. and conduct work until 4:00 p.m. daily. During work hours, motorists can expect single-lane closures and flagging operations. Drivers are asked to stay alert, stay focused and be aware of reduced speed limits and changing driving patterns in the work zone.

The work is expected to be complete by late fall, weather permitting.
