Local businesses gear up for MD Folk Fest

SALISBURY, Md. – Business owners in Downtown Salisbury are getting excited for the annual Folk Festival.

The event brings in droves of people from all across the state, driving up business for entrepreneurs in the area.

Owner of Crybaby Tattoo, Peach said her shop is running specials for the event and some added entertainment will hopefully bring in an increase in foot traffic to her business.

“I think it brings in more foot traffic. People that want to walk around, see kind of what’s going on,” said Peach. “I know there might be some stages closer to our end of downtown this time, which should be pretty exciting.”
