Georgetown man dies after single-vehicle crash
GEORGETOWN, Del. — Delaware State Police say a 29-year-old man has died more than a week after a single-vehicle crash in Georgetown.
Troopers said the crash happened around 7 p.m. on Aug. 19 when a Honda Pilot traveling eastbound on Hardscrabble Road left the roadway east of Tyndall Road. The SUV entered a ditch, struck a tree, overturned several times and hit a second tree.
The driver, Marco Lobos-Simaj of Georgetown, was taken to a hospital with critical injuries and died on Aug. 27, police said.
