Deadline Approaching for Volunteer Applications in Cambridge

(CAMBRIDGE, Md) – The City of Cambridge is looking for additional hands.

This is the last week the city is accepting applications for volunteers to take part in one of several city committees.

Applicants will work with members of the city council as well as other city departments.

Cambridge City Manager, Glenn Steckman spoke with us about filling these openings, and the qualities they’re looking for.

“…They have an ability to work with others. You know, that’s one of the more critical part, how well they can work with their fellow commissioners and have the time to do the work,” says Steckman.

The deadline to apply will be the end of the day on Friday, September 12th.
