Bunk with the Beasts and Help Prepare for Folk Fest in this Week’s City Minute

SALISBURY, Md. – You don’t have to travel across the world to take your family on an exotic vacation. Join us at the Zoo for our Bunk with the Beasts camping adventure on Friday night!
Enjoy dinner, a guided tour, fun activities, animal encounters, a night hike through the Zoo, and a continental breakfast. The campout is designed for families with children ages 4 and older. Sign-ups and more information can be found here.
You can also catch Artifact Adventures at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at the Zoo on Saturday. Enjoy a program designed to connect you with the wonders of the animal kingdom! The theme for September is Invasive Species.
Next weekend, Sept. 19-21, is the Maryland Folk Fest in downtown Salisbury, and all hands are on deck preparing. If you’d like to contribute, the Green Team is hosting a clean-up this Thursday, Sept. 11, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Unity Square. Supplies will be provided on site, and volunteers should park in the parking garage. Come lend a hand and help keep our community looking its best!
