UWLES to host 12th annual disc golf tournament raising funds for literacy program

WICOMICO COUNTY, Md. – United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore is hosting its annual disc golf tournament.

The organization has been at this for 12 years, getting the community together for a fun day of disc golf, and raising funds for local programs on the Lower Shore.

Ryan Jackson with UWLES said groups of four are encouraged to come out and show off their disc golf skills.

“You show up with your foursome, we encourage fun and festive uniforms, and we have fun trophies and prizes for our top placing teams,” said Jackson.
