Ocean City Art League to host 8th annual film challenge

OCEAN CITY, Md. – The Ocean City Art League is premiering entries for the 8th annual Ocean City film challenge on Saturday.

Filmmakers were challenged to produce an original short film, about Ocean City or shot in Ocean City. No longer than 10 minutes.

The films had to include a secret line of dialogue. Megan Burak-Lowe, the Digital Coordinator, said winners will get a special reward.

“The top 3 winners are going to be included in the film festival this coming year, and they are also going to get some prizes too as well.”

The films will be screened on the 94th Street tennis courts, just outside the arts center.

Screenings begin 7:30 p.m. – and it’s free to the public.
