MAC Inc Fundraiser and Back-to-School Planning in This Week’s City Minute

SALISBURY, Md. — There are guest bartenders at Brew River tonight, Thursday, Aug. 28, from 5p to 9p.

MAC Inc., the Area Agency on Aging, will receive 20 percent of all proceeds collected from dock bar food and drink orders.

Also, with students returning to school, there will be some road closures and detours on Thursday, specifically on Camden Avenue between College Avenue and Pine Bluff Road for Salisbury University’s annual move-in day. Detours will remain in effect until about 1p outside campus.

And it’s Labor Day weekend! The Salisbury Zoo will be open for visitors, and as always is free of charge.

Lastly, our grade school students who haven’t already returned to the classroom will be lining up at bus stops and heading back to school.
