MAC hosts fundraiser event to support senior citizen programs

SALISBURY, Md. – A local organization is hosting a fundraiser for senior citizens on the shore.

Maintaining Active Citizens, Or MAC, is partnering with Brew River for a fun night full of fun. You can expect live music, delicious food and raffles to help raise funds. 20% of all food and drink purchases from 5-9pm will go to MAC. It’s all to help keep its programs running.

Community relations and development coordinator, Nick Cranford encourages everyone who wants to support the cause to join them at the dock bar this evening.

“I really encourage everyone that’s available to come out and meet with us, learn about what we do, and all you have to do is come out and get a refreshing drink, some delicious food, on a beautiful night,” said Cranford.
