Dorchester Health Dept. Looking to Help Local Teens
(CAMBRIDGE, Md) – The Dorchester County Health Department is working on its own outreach effort, also trying to help educate local teens.
According to the health department, two programs will be chosen to teach what they call the “Making Proud Choices Curriculum”
At least 10 Dorchester County teens will get to take part, and we’re told that talking about mental health will be a big part of that learning.
“This effort complements sort of the classroom health and education. It allows for smaller groups and open more meaningful conversations,” says Dorchester County Health Department Public Information Officer, John Griep.
If you’re interested in signing up, you can find the application on the website for the Dorchester County Health Department.
The Deadline is 5 P.M. on September 11th.
