It’s Time Warp Disco for Third Friday

SALISBURY, Md. — When Victoria Idoni, Communications Director for the City of Salisbury, stops by for the City Minute, she always has a lot of great events to share.
This Friday is Third Friday, and the theme is Time Warp Disco. It’s also the first event where people will be able to get alcohol from four downtown venues. “I’ll explain that to WMDT’s Haley Rae later, so tune in for that.”
On Monday, Aug. 18, at 1 pm, the Tartu Academic Male Choir will perform at the Friendship Bridge right here on Market Street. Those are our friends from Salisbury’s Sister City in Estonia. “We’re so excited for their visit and having their voices echo through our Downtown!”
A quick reminder, the redesign of Carroll Street starts Monday and will be going on throughout the week, so keep an eye out for flaggers each day from 8 am to 5 pm as crews work to restripe the medians and bike lanes on Carroll Street.
And as always, parking downtown is free after 4 pm on weekdays and free all weekend long.
