Cambridge Set to Hold Annual Culture Fest

(CAMBRIDGE, Md) – Dorchester County is preparing for the return of a long-standing tradition.

The Group Groove City is preparing for its 7th annual Culture Fest in Cambridge.
The event takes place this weekend, and organizers tell us the original gathering started in the 1970s.

They’ve been working to bring it back over the last few years.
We’re told it’s about bringing everyone together, to know just how strong and resilient they can be.

Organizer, Veronica Taylor tells us, “We’re just here to make sure that we continue to engage the community and we support the community, and we also want to preserve and educate about the history of Pine Street, which is vital to this community because of the history that it holds.”

Culture Fest will take place at Cornish Park at 700 Phillips Street on Saturday, August 16th, starting at 2 P.M.
