Wor-Wic’s 23rd annual golf tournament raises $45,000

Salisbury, Md. — Wor-Wic Community College held its 23rd annual golf tournament, drawing 30 teams and raising $45,000.

Proceeds from the event will help support students facing outside barriers, allowing them to focus on their education. Stefanie Rider, Exec. Dr. of the Foundation and Development at Wor-Wic.

“The proceeds from the golf tournament help address some of the barriers students may encounter when they come here, either through tuition assistance or other means,” she added. “Our students’ success is what we’re all about here at Wor-Wic.”
