Sink Hole Located on Cedar Street in Cambridge

CAMBRIDGE, MD – City crews are responding to a sinkhole that opened Tuesday near the intersections of Cedar Street and Peachblossom Avenue, and Cedar and Moreland streets.

Traffic is being diverted while crews assess the damage. The closure is expected to remain in place through the evening.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes. City officials thanked residents for their patience.
