Salisbury Zoo to host inclusive craft night, unveil new animal ambassadors

SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury Zoo has welcomed two new animals.

They’ll be making their debut at a community event on July 22nd. The Zoo will be hosting an inclusive craft night.

Participants will make a piece of art centered around the new animals. Education technician, Katelyn Lee said this is the perfect opportunity to get a firsthand look at them, and let your creativity run wild.

“This is a really wonderful opportunity for people who might be a part of our intellectual or developmental disability community, who want to come and enjoy a really special night here, at the zoo,” said Lee. “Not only do they get to come after hours, but they get to see some of our special ambassador animals that aren’t out on exhibit.”
