Officials urge residents to listen to experts during severe weather

DELMARVA. – Areas across Delmarva have been hit by severe storms, and one of the best ways you can track that weather is by downloading the WMDT weather app.

Meanwhile, Chief Rob Frampton at the Salisbury Fire Department said staying indoors is always safest during severe weather.

“If there’s any warnings or watching, take heed,” said Frampton.

“Stay inside, don’t go outside, don’t be under trees. Lightening is typically going to strike the highest thing that’s in the area of it,” he added.
