Ocean Pines to Host Virtual Town Hall on Proposed Wireless Tower

OCEAN PINES, Md. — A virtual town hall will be held Monday, July 28, to discuss a proposed wireless telecommunications tower that would expand cellular service in the Ocean Pines community.

The event, scheduled from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., will feature representatives from Milestone Communications and Verizon Wireless. The proposed project includes the construction of a 130-foot monopole and related ground equipment designed to enhance coverage for Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile customers in the area.

Milestone Communications, the company behind the proposal, says the tower would help address service gaps and improve overall wireless connectivity in Ocean Pines.
