Non-profit hosts Summer Jam event

Salisbury, Md– A local nonprofit is planning a major Summer Jam event on July 12.

The event benefits A Cousin’s Wish, a group focused on bringing the community together. The first 50 attendees will receive free shaved ice from Tiki Hut, and the first 100 will be able to participate in free activities.

Organizers say the event is an opportunity for Salisbury residents to connect.

“It gives the youth a chance to come and see who we are – not just as individuals, but as a community,” an organizer said. “We’re providing a safe atmosphere where kids can enjoy summer fun, beat the heat, and take part in a day of games and raffles. We’re even giving away some gift cards.”

The event is scheduled to run from 2:30 to 8:30 p.m.

A Cousin’s Wish holds several other events throughout the year.
