National Night Out returns to Northside Park
OCEAN CITY, Md. – The Ocean City Police Department invites you to National Night Out on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Northside Park’s West Lagoon Field.
National Night Out is our annual celebration of community partnerships and public safety, and this year promises to be the best yet!
Meet and mingle with the many first responder agencies that work hard every day to keep Ocean City safe. Our Ocean City Police Department, Fire Department, Fire Marshal’s Office, Emergency Services, Beach Patrol, Quick Response Team, Forensic Services Unit, Mounted and K-9 Units will be there, along with our partners from the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office, Maryland State Police, U.S. Coast Guard, and Maryland National Guard Counterdrug Program.
This year, we’re welcoming even more community partners, including Ocean City Tourism, Atlantic General Hospital, the Maryland Department of Transportation, Worcester County Health Department, and the Worcester County Child Advocacy Center. While you’re there, cool off with a sweet treat from Kona Ice!
Don’t miss the chance to dunk Officer Gable in the dunk tank! All for a good cause, of course! For just $2 for three throws, you can try to dunk Officer Gable and help raise funds for the Ocean City Police Morale Committee, which supports wellness and special projects for our officers year-round.
Enjoy activities such as mingling with neighbors and first responders, exploring career opportunities in law enforcement, signing up for the Citizens Police Academy or CERT training, and watching live demonstrations from the bomb squad, drones, mounted units, and K-9 units. Activities are available for all ages, ensuring everyone finds something engaging.
Feeling competitive? Challenge your friends and family to a friendly game of tug of war or cornhole, or face off with some of our first responders! Ever wanted to see inside an ambulance, fire truck, or police command truck? Now’s your chance!
