Local Muralist Working on New Cambridge Mural

(CAMBRIDGE, Md) – A popular attraction in Cambridge is getting a new addition.

Work is being done on Cedar Street for a the newest addition to the Cambridge Mural Trail.

The mural, which celebrates Latin Heritage is being painted by Miriam Moran, who is being funded through the Dorchester Center for the Arts.

We caught up with her while she was painting to talk

“I could definitely say it means a lot, especially in the history of Cambridge. This is very different. This is actually the first Latin Heritage mural homage. And so doing this, it plays a big part for a lot of community members who really want their voice seen through art…” says Moran.

She tells us the mural will be fully unveiled on August 9th.
