Hurlock Tennis and Pickleball Courts a Smash Hit

(HURLOCK, Md) – The Dorchester County community is taking full advantage of a new athletic complex facility in Hurlock.

Dorchester County Recreation and Parks opened up the new tennis and pickleball courts just before the holiday.

As officials tell us, it’s been a “smash” hit with people of all ages at all times of the day.

“The cooler weather has helped a little bit. But just seeing the community use it during the mornings and evenings, as we know, we did the right thing here for the community by resurfacing these courts and tournament pickleball courts,” says Dorchester Recreation and Parks Director, Duc Trieu.

Trieu goes on to say there are plans to have pickleball classes for nearby Hurlock Elementary School in the Fall.
