CAMBRIDGE, Md. — Cambridge Police have made a second arrest for the June 8 murder of Alyson Elien of Seaford. Already in custody is 15-year-old Jakai Wilson. On Monday, police announced the arrest of Greenwood Avenue resident Nisiah Jeremiah Fletcher, 18, of Cambridge. Fletcher was taken into custody, appeared before a Court Commissioner, then turned over to the Dorchester County Department of Corrections on no bond. Fletcher is charged with Murder 1st, Conspiracy Murder 1st, Murder 2nd, Assault 1st, Loaded Handgun, Armed Robbery, and many more.

6/11 UPDATE: Cambridge Police have arrested and charged a 15-year-old as an adult in this homicide investigation.
A thorough investigation into this incident led detectives to identify the suspect as 15-year-old Jakai Wilson. Wilson was taken into custody during a traffic stop Tuesday evening, during which he was located in the back seat of a vehicle. He was subsequently taken into custody and charged with first and second degree murder, four counts each of conspiracy murder first and second degree, first and second degree assault, four counts each of conspiracy assault first and second degree, loaded handgun on person, firearm use in a violent crime, and multiple additional offenses.
Wilson is being held without bond.

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – An investigation is underway following a homicide in Cambridge Sunday evening.
Just after 8:30 p.m., Cambridge Police were called to a reported shooting in the 900 block of Camelia Street. At the scene, police reportedly found a 23-year-old old laying outside of a vehicle in a driveway, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Officers attempted life saving measures at the scene until Dorchester County EMS arrived to take the victim to the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center in Cambridge, where he was pronounced dead.
The victim was later identified as Alyson Elien of Seaford.
At the scene, detectives found a handgun and other evidence stemming from the incident. Police have identified a suspect and are applying for criminal charges at this time. Detectives are also working to identify multiple additional accomplices involved in the incident. Police say video footage showed that a large number of community members converged on the area surrounding the victim and never rendered any type of aid. Several individuals were also reportedly seen going into the victim’s vehicle and taking items from it, as well as what appeared to be taking items off of the victim as he laid there.
