Good Morning Delmarva discusses SODELO’S upcoming summer concerts

WMDT – The Southern Delaware Orchestra is performing a series of concerts called “A Summer Celebration of America’s Music”

They have two upcoming shows at Milford and Cape Henlopen High School.

Co-founder and president, Stephen Greifer, stopped by to tell us all about this program.

Greifer says he used to play in a community orchestra when he lived in New York and when he moved here, he wanted to continue to share his love of music.

We’re told the orchestra is composed of a range of ages and music levels.

Milford High School’s concert will be on July 19th at 3 p.m.

Cape Henlopen High School’s concert will be on July 20th at 3 p.m.

They are performing for the 1st time at Freeman Stage on August 12th.
