Discover Delmarva: Saint Nick’s Mini Golf

FENWICK ISLAND- De-  Saint Nick’s Mini Golf in Fenwick Island it’s always a Winter Wonderland no matter what time of the year you visit!
It’s hard to miss this course driving down coastal highway, and that’s exactly what Owner Nick Geracimos was going for. “We knew that it needed a real chance that would be noticeable from the street, and once you’re here, you know. to really feel the whole theme come together. We ended up going with a winter Christmasy theme.”

Now forecasting across Delmarva can be tricky, but in this course, the weather seems to have a mind of its own! But at least it’s consistent. Geracimos tells us, “We have snow going off here every day. Every few minutes, we get some snowstorms going.” With the snow blowing and the snow-capped hills in the background, I had to get out there and try out the course. Hole one was a challenge with so many elevation changes. While hole two had a giant Polar Bear waiting for me! I’ll blame my bad shot on him for this round.

Geracimos says the core of the business has to be done at a high level, no matter what the theme is. “It’s all about the mini-golf for me. The props are great, the dinosaurs are cool, and the Christmas stuff is cool. But at the end of the day, it’s got to be a fun course to play mini golf.”

This course delivered on every note! With water features, giant Christmas trees, and even some photo props to stick your head in. Some of the holes offer two points of attack. So Kolby tried one way and I tried the other one for another *friendly* competition. We both had great shots initially, hitting pretty close to the hole. Where this high-stakes- I mean, friendly competition ended in…. a tie for the second year in a row

Although we did notice one difference in this course compared to your typical mini-golf experience, “One of the coolest things about these greens is right around the borders of the holes, there’s actually a little slope built up to the edges. So your ball will never sit against the edge of the bricks. When you know it takes time, you’ve got to move it out with the club head.”

With a fast pace of play, challenging holes, and a terrific theme, there’s no better place to enjoy a game of mini golf and get a slice of Christmas. Geracimos says he’s excited for the future of the course as it changes over the coming years. “There’s no shortage of Christmas-themed things. So it’s one of the exciting things for me about this place, too, isn’t what it is today. It’s what it can turn into over the next three, four, five years.”

Saint Nick’s Mini Golf opens at 9 am, seven days a week. They are celebrating Christmas in July with special giveaways and special visits from Santa. For more information on their event schedule and to plan your tee time, you can check out their website.
