Delaware State Fair hosts Armed Forces Day

Active-duty and retired military personnel with valid military ID received free admission.

The day was meant to recognize members of the military and thank them for their service.

Delaware National Guard Spc. Luz Montan enjoys being here and engaging with the community.

“We’ve been out here every day, engaging, showcasing and hopefully getting interested folks information out. We are the National Guard, we are part time, we are who the state calls when there is a national emergency or state emergency. We’re here to respond.”
