Corgis steal the show at Delaware State Fair

HARRINGTON, Del. — Crowds gathered at the Delaware State Fair this week were treated to one of the fair’s most adorable traditions — the corgi races.

Layla Webster, a devoted fan and race spectator, shared her enthusiasm for the pint-sized competitors. “We think corgis are the cutest ever — they’re so adorable,” she said, beaming as the short-legged pups darted down the sponsor court racetrack.

Webster, who described herself as a “Corgi Lover,” encouraged others to catch the races while they can. “They’re all super fun. You should go to all of them — they’re great. It’s like our second day, so we love coming here.”

The corgi races continue to draw fairgoers of all ages, blending quirky competition with undeniable charm. Fair organizers confirmed the races will resume tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. at the sponsor court.

For those seeking a dose of cuteness and community spirit, the corgi races remain a can’t-miss highlight of the Delaware State Fair.
