Community Support Closet in need of donations

WICOMICO COUNTY, Md. – The public library needs donations to bolster its community support closet.

It’s located on the top floor of the library and is open to anyone in need. There are no questions asked.

All people need to do is show up and pick out the clothes, food and resources they need.

Untia Bigelow said the contributions from the community are what helps keep the doors to the closet open.

“We take clothing, we take shoes, we take canned goods, toiletries, and you can drop those right upstairs at the community support center,” said Bigelow.

The library asks that the clothing items be new or gently used.
