Uncle Kunkel’s One Gram Band Takes Stage for Final Friday Night Live Concert Series

SALISBURY, Md. — In this week’s installment of City Minute, City of Salisbury Communications Director Victoria Idoni reminded people that on Friday night, Downtown Salisbury is the place to be.

It’s the final show of the Friday Night Live concert series. This free, family-friendly event features the high energy funk rock sounds of Uncle Kunkel’s One Gram Band. It runs from
6:30 pm to 9 pm at Unity Square.
Then, on Monday, Victoria invited everyone to Burnish Beer for a Salisbury Zoo fundraiser called “Drink Beer, Save Turtles.” People can enjoy local brews while supporting a great cause. There will also be some of the Zoo’s ambassador turtles on display. The fundraiser runs from 4 pm to 9 pm.
On Tuesday, Aug. 5, National Night Out returns to Salisbury City Park from 5 pm to 8 pm. With free food, family-friendly activities, everything is free, including parking.
Again, parking downtown is free after 4 pm and free all weekend.
