Changes coming to Delaware tolls

DELAWARE –  Big changes are coming to Delaware tolls.

Starting August 15, 2025, tolls on I-95, US 301, and SR 1 will rise—most two-axle vehicles will see a $1 increase, with weekend rates on SR 1 going as high as $6 for non-Delaware drivers.

It’s all part of DelDOT’s plan to raise $107 million annually for critical infrastructure upgrades.

And beginning October 1, DMV fees will also go up, including a 1% hike in vehicle document fees.
