4th Man Arrested for June 8 Murder in Cambridge

CAMBRIDGE, Md. — The Cambridge Police Department have made four arrests in the murder of 23-year-old Alyson Elien, of Seaford, who was fatally shot in the head in the 900 block of Camelia Street on June 8.

Police arrested Kah’Zion Karim, 18, of Havre De Grace, Md., this week. He is charged with:

  • Assault 1st Degree
  • Assault 2nd Degree
  • Loaded Handgun on Person
  • Handgun on Person
  • Firearm Use Felony Violent Crime
  • Possession Firearm Minor
  • Armed Robbery
  • Robbery
  • Alter Physical Evidence Criminal Proceeding
  • Regulated Firearm Stolen

Police arrested Ja’sire Levonte Kane, 20, of Cambridge, earlier this week. He is charged with:

  • Murder 1st Degree
  • Conspiracy Murder 1st Degree
  • Murder 2nd Degree
  • Assault 1st Degree
  • Assault 2nd Degree
  • Loaded Handgun on Person
  • Handgun on Person
  • Firearm Use Felony Violent Crime
  • Possession Firearm Minor
  • Armed Robbery
  • Robbery
  • Alter Physical Evidence Criminal Proceeding

Police first arrested Jakai Wilson, 15, of Cambridge, on June 10. He is charged with:

  • Murder 1st Degree
  • Conspiracy Murder 1st Degree (4 counts)
  • Murder 2nd Degree
  • Conspiracy Murder 2nd Degree (4 counts)
  • Assault 1st Degree
  • Conspiracy Assault 1st Degree (4 counts)
  • Assault 2nd Degree
  • Conspiracy Assault 2nd Degree (4 counts)
  • Loaded Handgun on Person
  • Firearm Use Felony Violent Crime
  • Possession Firearm Minor
  • Armed Robbery
  • Conspiracy Armed Robbery
  • Regulated Firearm Stolen
  • Alter Physical Evidence Criminal Proceeding

Police arrested a second man, Nisiah Jeremiah Fletcher, 18, of Cambridge, on July 6. He is charged with:

  • Murder 1st Degree
  • Conspiracy Murder 1st Degree
  • Murder 2nd Degree
  • Assault 1st Degree
  • Assault 2nd Degree
  • Loaded Handgun on Person
  • Handgun on Person
  • Firearm Use Felony Violent Crime

This is still an on-going investigation where additional arrests and charges are pending for individuals that were involved in this senseless act of violence.
