17-year-old Arrested for ‘Ghost Guns’

Delaware State Police have arrested a 17-year-old boy from Camden for felony gun and drug charges following a search warrant yesterday in Camden.

On July 16, 2025, members of the Kent County Drug Unit, Kent County Governor’s Task Force, and Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team, executed a search warrant at a residence on East Camden-Wyoming Avenue in Camden. The search warrant followed an investigation of a 17-year-old for the distribution of illegal narcotics from the residence.

A search of the residence led to the discovery of the following items:

  • 2 – 9mm Glock “ghost guns”
  • Polymer Glock lower receiver
  • 3D printed handgun switch
  • 9mm ammunition
  • Approximately 0.24 grams of heroin
  • Approximately 0.10 grams of crack cocaine
  • Digital scale
  • Drug paraphernalia

The 17-year-old was arrested and taken to Troop 3, where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and committed to Stevenson House Detention Center.

  • Possession of a Firearm by a Person Under 21 (Felony) – 3 counts
  • Possession of Ammunition for a Firearm by a Person Under 21 (Felony)
  • Possession of Destructive Weapon – Machine Gun/Weapon Adaptable for Use as Machine Gun (Felony)
  • Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance (Felony) – 2 counts
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
