Travel Advisory: 4th of July Fireworks Return to Ocean City

Ocean City, Md- 4th of July fireworks are back in Ocean City this year!

The town is offering fireworks shows at Northside Park and downtown on Caroline Street. Officials expect large crowds, and the Ocean City Police Department has issued travel advisories.

Ashley Miller, deputy communications manager for the Ocean City Police Department, said, “We also see a lot of traffic coming into town. So we see that on, you know, whether it’s Delaware, Route 54, Route 90 and Route 50, you’re going to have a lot of traffic. So we really strongly encourage everybody to come into town early and plan to stay late. That way, you’re not stuck just sitting in traffic on Coastal Highway.”

If you are planning to travel this holiday, officials urge you to consider the traffic advisories.
