The town of Berlin adopts 2026 Fiscal Year Budget

BERLIN, Md. – The town of Berlin has adopted its fiscal 2026 budget.

The adoption took place at the most recent council meeting. Officials say the plan includes a new public works facility, renovations to Berlin Town Hall, and construction of a new skate park.

Mayor Zach Tyndall called the adoption a major step forward and said collaboration made it possible.

“Working with residents, business owners and department heads. Having the mayor and council come together to talk about what that fiscal 2026 budget will look like,” he said.

The town also opted to maintain its current tax rate despite some budget concerns.
