The 3rd anniversary of Cpl. Glenn Hilliard’s tragic death – family and friends honor the fallen hero

SALISBURY, Md. — Today marks three years since Wicomico County Sheriff’s Corporal Glenn Hilliard’s death. It occurred in the line of duty when he was murdered while attempting to take wanted felon Austin Davidson into custody.

Thursday morning in Berlin, family and friends visited Corporal Hilliard’s gravesite to pay tribute to the fallen hero.

Wicomico County Sheriff Mike Lewis said Corporal Hilliard will be remembered forever.

“Today, we not only remember him, we not only honor him, but we recognize the legacy he left behind. This morning, we met with his wife, his three children, and his in-laws at the gravesite. We laid a special wreath on his site, laughed, and honored his legacy.”
