Snow Hill Road Construction Done Early

Snow Hill, Md. — The State Highway Administration (SHA) crews have completed Phase 1 of construction on Snow Hill Road.

SHA announced that Phase 1 involved the installation of sewer and water lines. The next step will be the creation of a roundabout to support an upcoming development down the road. Mark Crampton, of SHA, noted that there is still much work ahead.

“Well, just again, patience. It’ll be there through the summer months. Right now, beyond this, where in the next step is to get a pole It’s alongside the present road. But that’s going to be in the future, middle of the traffic circle that has to get out of the way the developer hopes to be in by around the Labor Day time frame.” he said.

Crampton also said that the completed phase should help reduce traffic congestion around the construction area.
