Portion of Route 113 in Worcester Co. to temporarily close for movement of large tanks

WORCESTER CO., Md. – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration says it will help a private transport company with temporary overnight road closures for the movement of five large natural gas tanks.

Starting around midnight on June 9th, 11th, 13th, 16th, and 18th, crews will close north and southbound Route 113 between Bishopville Road (MD 367) and Kepler Lane in order to accommodate these moves.

The roadway is slated to reopen by 5 a.m. each morning, weather permitting.
