Police are investigating a crash in Milton that left one woman dead
MILTON, Del. – Police are currently investigating a fatal crash that left one dead on Friday.
According to police, a Ford Bronco was driving on Mulberry Street towards the Milton-Ellendale Highway around 4:30 p.m.
A Sussex County EMS Chevrolet Suburban was responding to an emergency call as it traveled down Milton-Ellendale Highway.
The driver of the Bronco passed the stop sign on Mulberry Street and into the path of the EMS vehicle before being hit from the passenger’s side.
The 74-year-old woman, identified as Mary O’Bier, was the driver of the Bronco and was taken to the nearest hospital where she later died.
The other victim was also taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
