Oyster Recovery Partnership recycles over 350k bushels of oysters

DELMARVA – To date, the Oyster Recovery Partnership has recycled over 350,000 bushels of oyster shells.

The shells are taken from restaurants and planted back in the Chesapeake Bay, helping to build reefs and grow billions of baby oysters. Not only does it help the bivalves, it also improves water quality and supports other marine life.
