MSP asking for help in 1989 cold case murder of Wicomico Co. woman
WICOMICO CO., Md. – Maryland State Police are asking for the public’s help in a 1989 cold case murder.
Police say on September 9, 1989, 26-year-old Colleen Powell West was found dead in a remote area along Bear Swamp Road near Wango. She was last seen alive on the evening of September 8, 1989, at the Sportsmans Pub on Roland Street in Salisbury.
Her case remains unsolved, and investigators are renewing their plea for anyone who may have any relevant information to please come forward.
