At around 2 a.m., troopers say they were called to a residence in the 24000 block of Rivers Edge Drive for a reported shooting. At the scene, a 19-year-old man was found outside the home, suffering from gunshot wounds. Troopers rendered medical aid, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim was later identified as 19-year-old Andree’ Mosley Jr. of Ellendale.

Two additional men were also found outside the home and were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The shooter, identified as 25-year-old Marcus Harris, was found inside the home and subsequently arrested. Preliminary investigation revealed that Mosley and the two other men were at the home with a female occupant who was acquainted with both Harris and Mosley. A physical altercation broke out between Harris and Mosley, during which Harris shot him before firing at the other two men.

The woman was not injured in the incident.

Harris was charged with first degree murder, two counts of attempt to commit first degree murder, and three counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. He was held on a $480,000 cash bond.
