Man arrested for alleged sex abuse of a minor in Lewes

LEWES, Del. – Lewes Police have arrested a man for alleged sex offenses against a juvenile.

Last month, the department launched an investigation after being notified by the Division of Family Services. The suspect was identified as 50-year-old Kevin Boyer, and the investigation revealed that the offenses took place between 2016 and 2021, with the juvenile victim between the ages of 7 and 12.

Boyer was arrested last week and charged with multiple sex offenses before being held on a $242,000 bail.
