Lower Shore Autism Community hosts 5K run and 1K walk

Salisbury, Md- The Lower Shore Autism Community is hosting its second annual five-mile run and one-mile walk this Saturday. Fundraising helps keep the organization’s events free for families to enjoy year-round.

The event will begin at 10 a.m. at 1500 Core Plaza in Salisbury.

Jayme DelVecchio, administrative specialist with the Lower Shore Autism Community, said, “This is one of our biggest fundraisers. And number one, it’s to bring the community together to highlight our actual spectrum superstars. This is their day. This is to highlight them.”

Participants are encouraged to bring friends, family members and even dogs to support the cause. The Lower Shore Autism Community welcomes all to attend.
