Investigation underway into crash that left one person seriously injured in Milford

MILFORD, Del. – Police are investigating a serious crash that happened Saturday afternoon.

According to police, around 3:25 p.m., a gold Hyundai Elantra was driving into the Dollar Tree parking lot at Cypress Hall Shopping Center on South DuPont Boulevard.

Suddenly, the car crash into the Dollar Tree hitting a 97-year-old customer.

The victim was taken to the nearest hospital in critical condition after debris fell on them.

The 44-year-old driver of the Hyundai Elantra was also taken to the nearest hospital for treatment.
