Investigation underway into a robbery in Dover

DOVER, Del. – Police are currently investigating a robbery in Dover Saturday.

According to Police, around 6:45 that evening, they were called to the 800 Block of White Oak Road.

When officers arrived, they found a 53-year-old victim who had been pepper sprayed.

The woman was waiting at a bus stop when the suspect, described as a skinny white female wearing a white t-shirt and dark pants, walked up to her.

The suspect then pepper-sprayed the victim and stole her purse before fleeing.
