Groundbreaking for new Fruitland Primary School to take place Friday morning
FRUITLAND, Md. – A groundbreaking for the new Fruitland Primary School is taking place Friday morning.
The school system, Board of Education, Wicomico County, and others will break ground on the new school at 10:30 a.m. The groundbreaking will take place at the school, located at 301 N. Division Street in Fruitland.
12 Fruitland Primary Prekindergarden students with student-sized shovels and hardhats will also join the adults for the groundbreaking. 2nd grade students will open the ceremony with a song.
The new Fruitland Primary School is slated to open in the fall of 2027.
