Good Morning Delmarva discusses Sussex County Habitat for Humanity’s 200th Home Dedication
WMDT – Richard Pollitt is the new Director of Development for Sussex County Habitat for Humanity and he stopped by Good Morning Delmarva to discuss the direction he’s taking the organization.
The non-profit celebrated their 30th anniversary and are looking forward to their 200th home dedication on June 25th in Rehoboth.
We’re told there’s a housing crisis, and many are spending too much with the cost of living, so the organization is striving to provide access to affordable and safe housing.
They offer families different avenues to home ownership, help fix homes and provide resources for financial literacy.
Pollitt tells us they want their families to be able to sustain their homes and create generational wealth.
They are still looking for volunteers to join them in welcoming a family to their new home on the 25th, or you can help out at their ReStore,
