Fatal crash shuts down portion of Route 13 in Accomack Co.

ACCOMACK CO., Va. – A portion of Route 13 in Accomack County is shut down at this time due to a fatal crash.

The crash reportedly happened at around 12:20 p.m. on Route 13 near Parks Road. The crash involved a Toyota minivan and a Subaru sedan.

Police say one person is dead and nine others are injured, with three reportedly airlifted the hospitals.

All lanes on Route 13 in the area are closed.
