Early morning crash injures two in Pocomoke

POCOMOKE, Md. – Police say an early morning crash left two people injured in Pocomoke.

At around 5:40 a.m., crews responded to an alert for a vehicle crash on Whitesburg Road, near Oak Hall Road. Units arrived at the scene to find a head-on crash with one vehicle into the woods. The driver was removed from the car and treated by Pocomoke City EMS.

One driver was reportedly taken to Shock Trauma by Maryland State Police Helicopter.

The crash remains under investigation.
